We are looking for an experienced Senior Accountant to join our accounting advisory and outsourcing team. In this role, you will take full ownership of the accounting cycle for diverse clients, from preparing financial statements under UA GAAP to providing expert tax methodology support. 

Key Responsibilities: 

• Paricipate in accounting outsourcing projects, including preparation of tax and management reports for clients (legal entities and representative offices) across various industries 

• Independently maintain accounting records in ERP systems, close reporting periods, and prepare full statutory financial statements (5 forms) under Ukrainian GAAP (П(С)БО) 

• Prepare a full package of financial statements based on ERP data and perform financial statements review 

• Prepare and submit tax reporting, including VAT, corporate income tax (along with appendices), tax invoices, and transfer/payment documentation 

• Handle withholding taxes, including repatriation tax: calculation, payment, and related tax reporting 

• Provide advisory support on accounting and tax methodology, including regulatory interpretation based on the Tax Code of Ukraine 

• Communicate proactively with clients and support long‑term professional relationships 

• Organize work of junior accountants, ensuring effective task prioritization and decision‑making, develop junior team members through guidance, mentoring, and constructive performance feedback 

Osobnostné predpoklady a zručnosti

Requirements: 

• Academic degree in Accounting or Finance (or equivalent relevant experience) 

• Minimum 3 years of progressive accounting experience, including:  

• Strong knowledge of financial accounting and the ability to independently maintain accounting records 

• Hands‑on experience preparing full statutory financial statements (5 forms) under П(С)БО 

• Proven experience preparing tax reporting: VAT, corporate income tax (along with all the necessary appendices) 

• Solid experience with preparation of repatriation tax reporting (calculation, payment, reporting) 

• Deep knowledge of the Tax Code of Ukraine 

• Experience working with accounting ERP systems such as SAP (preferred), BAS, Navision, Dynamics, 1C or other systems  

• Fluent Ukrainian and confident professional communication in English, at intermediate level, Slovak (optional) 

• Professional certifications (ACCA, CPA) and deep knowledge of IFRS are considered advantages 

• Valid work permit for Slovakia
