We are looking for a motivated Junior Accountant to join our growing accounting team. While our primary offices are located in Bratislava and Banská Bystrica, for this position it is required to spend at least 2 days per week on-site in Topoľčany. You will have the opportunity to work on a variety of financial tasks, resolve routine accounting issues, and collaborate with experienced experts across our international firm.

Key Responsibilities:

·       Processing and verification of primary accounting documents

·       Working with bank statements, making payments and reconciliations

·       Making accounting entries and maintaining accounting records in ERP systems

·       Supporting payroll (salary calculation) processes under instructions of a senior accountant

·       Assisting with registering tax invoices and processing related documentation

·       Preparation and support of VAT reporting under supervision of a senior accountant

·       Supporting senior team members in accounting and tax compliance tasks

·       Communication with internal teams and, when required, with clients

Osobnostné predpoklady a zručnosti

Qualifications:

·       Academic degree in Accounting or Finance (or equivalent relevant experience)

·       Basic to intermediate understanding of accounting principles and SK GAAP; knowledge of IFRS is an advantage

·       At least 1 year of practical experience in processing primary documents, making accounting entries, registering invoices, and processing bank payments.

·       Practical experience working with accounting/ERP systems (SAP, Navision, Microsoft Dynamics, or similar systems is an advantage).

·       Good skills in working in MS Excel

·       English: Fluent / Professional working proficiency is must.

·       German: Intermediate level or higher is a strong advantage.

·       Willingness to travel to Topoľčany for at least 2 days per week
