As an SAP Sr. Consultant Finance (FI), you will provide specialized expertise in SAP Finance and Controlling, driving the successful delivery of SAP projects. You will work directly with clients, focusing on improving business processes, delivering high-quality solutions, and managing project teams.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead business process consulting activities and advise clients on SAP S/4HANA Finance best practices, helping translate business objectives into scalable SAP Public Cloud solutions.

• Facilitate Fit-to-Standard workshops and challenge existing processes by promoting SAP standard capabilities and leading practices.

• Analyze, document, and validate business requirements, ensuring alignment with SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud functionality and implementation principles.

• Design, configure, and deploy SAP Finance solutions, with a focus on SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud while considering integration requirements across the broader enterprise landscape.

• Drive the implementation of end-to-end Finance processes, including General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Asset Accounting, Project Accounting, Cash Management, Treasury, Group Reporting, and Financial Planning where applicable.

• Lead solution design discussions and collaborate with cross-functional teams across Procurement, Sales, Manufacturing, Project Systems, and Analytics.

• Act as a trusted advisor to client stakeholders and provide recommendations on process standardization, automation, and finance transformation initiatives.

• Support and contribute to pre-sales activities, including solution demonstrations, proposal preparation, effort estimations, solution reviews, and feasibility assessments.

• Mentor junior consultants and actively contribute to capability development, knowledge sharing, and coaching within the SAP practice.

• Plan and execute testing activities, support defect resolution, coordinate business validation, and participate in cutover and go-live activities.

• Deliver workshops, knowledge transfer sessions, and end-user training to client teams.

• Create and maintain high-quality project deliverables, including solution design documents, functional specifications, test scripts, and training materials.

• Stay current with SAP S/4HANA innovations, quarterly Public Cloud releases, SAP Signavio, SAP Business AI, and finance transformation trends.

Osobnostné predpoklady a zručnosti

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, Information Systems, Business Administration, Economics, Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.

• Strong communication, presentation, stakeholder management, and consulting skills with the ability to engage effectively with both business and IT audiences.

• Strong business acumen combined with a customer-focused and solution-oriented mindset.

• Business fluent in English (written and verbal).

• German language skills are a strong advantage but not mandatory.

• 4-5 years of SAP Finance consulting experience with proven expertise in SAP FI and integration with Controlling and logistics modules.

• Participation in at least 3 full-cycle SAP implementation projects, including at least one SAP S/4HANA program.

• Strong functional knowledge of:

  • General Ledger Accounting (GL)

  • Accounts Payable (AP)

  • Accounts Receivable (AR)

  • Asset Accounting (AA)

  • Bank Accounting and Cash Management

  • Financial Closing and Reporting

  • Tax and Compliance processes

  • Integration with Controlling (CO), Procurement (MM), and Sales (SD)

• Hands-on experience with SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud is strongly preferred.

• Experience with SAP S/4HANA Private Cloud is considered an advantage.

• Solid experience with SAP ERP ECC is desirable and expected due to the prevalence of brownfield and transformation projects.

• Experience facilitating Fit-to-Standard workshops, process design sessions, testing cycles, and deployment activities.

• Ability to independently lead a functional workstream and manage client expectations throughout project delivery.

• Experience supporting business development, presales activities, and proposal preparation.

• SAP S/4HANA Finance certification or SAP Public Cloud Finance certification is a strong advantage.

• Experience with SAP Activate methodology and Agile delivery approaches.

• Experience with SAP Signavio Process Transformation Suite is considered an advantage.

• Comfortable working independently while maintaining a high level of quality and accountability.

• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills with excellent attention to detail.

• Previous consulting experience in an international environment or professional services organization is preferred.
